NAMI Clackamas at 1st Friday in Milwaukie

NAMI members, family and friends will share stories, poems, raps, songs on the event stage tomorrow (June 2nd) between 5:00 – 5:30 pm in the parking lot across from Milwaukie City Hall.

That performance will be followed by street corner storytelling, poetry reading, rapping, and singing at the NAMI Clackamas booth front of Key Bank at Main & Monroe until 8:30.

Stop by and share how you’re feeling on our “Feel-ometer” donated by Higgins Signs and you’ll be entered to win an awesome gift basket courtesy of Enchante Chocolatier.

While you’re there, be sure to check out the work of talented people impacted by mental health issues that will be on display including Sherry Joiner, Lisa Thomas, Dominic Kukla, Emily Gippert, and Doug Wetsberg.

May 28/2022-May 30/ 2022 Entered four paintings I painted in the Multnomah County Fair. Theme of the exhibit is For All Those Who Serve, Memorial Day Weekend.

May 22/2022, Volunteer and participated in NAMI NW Walks Clackamas NAMI, Peninsula Park Portland Oregon. Walk for Awareness, to educate and advocate for anyone with mental health issues and to insure encouragement, hope and right the wrong of stigma. Every mental health matters.

. 7/15/2021 Donated two paintings and several Sherry Goes Sane and Last Miracle Maria books for raffle at Drop in Vaccine Center, Providence Willamette Falls Education Center for support of mental health issues, addiction, loved one, vaccine receivers and for the development of vaccines through NAMI Clackamas
