Yesterday, I voted. Joe and I picnicked with friends, Todd and his daughter, Kylie, at Mt. Scott Community Park. The wind softly blew through the tall viridian green trees and the branches sang and danced with the birds to the music of the sweet nature and the beauty of Spring. We were riding on our natural highs of life and sending frizby rings spiraling into the air. Spring picked me up by the balls of my feet and I began dancing with the wind. I had the best of both worlds. This is my painting “Dancing with the Wind,” by Sherry M. Joiner
