Tears fell heavy here on my home last night as we watched the news on tv
the powerful life story of Congressman John Lewis, the Giant of the Civil Rights Activists. We witnessed the immense pain John went through when he led the march to Alabama and when he was jailed. John was a person who cared for people, and people cared enough about him to fight for him. He fought for what he believed in- equality, freedom, and legislation. Congressman Lewis was a deep soul brother and a friend. Why do we have to be judged by our color? He was successful to leading the pathway for the Civil Rights Activists, and received the medal of Freedom from President Obama. He passed away last night and will be missed tremendously.
