Grieving on Thanksgiving Day with Schizoaffective Disorder

Thanksgiving Day, we celebrate my late brother Doug’s birthday. He would have turned 58, on November 24th. He was a kind, intelligent, deep, and generous soul. I know he would have been amazed at the changes made in the politics of the gay life style now days.. Among his occupations and talents, Doug was an certified nurse aide an artist, an actor. He was a wonderful brother to me and my family. He died September 16, 1990 of AIDS. I still miss him so much.

May 28/2022-May 30/ 2022 Entered four paintings I painted in the Multnomah County Fair. Theme of the exhibit is For All Those Who Serve, Memorial Day Weekend.

May 22/2022, Volunteer and participated in NAMI NW Walks Clackamas NAMI, Peninsula Park Portland Oregon. Walk for Awareness, to educate and advocate for anyone with mental health issues and to insure encouragement, hope and right the wrong of stigma. Every mental health matters.

. 7/15/2021 Donated two paintings and several Sherry Goes Sane and Last Miracle Maria books for raffle at Drop in Vaccine Center, Providence Willamette Falls Education Center for support of mental health issues, addiction, loved one, vaccine receivers and for the development of vaccines through NAMI Clackamas

5/29/2021- open 12-6pm to ticketed public-5/30/2021 12-4pm to ticketed public- Sherry exhibits three of her oil paintings at the Modified Multnomah County Fair, Oaks Park Ptld. Oregon, Theme, Honoring those who serve.

10/17-10/18/20. Sherry exhibits three of her oil paintings in the Modified Multnomah County Fair, at Oak’s Park, Portland, Oregon, Sat. 1 pm-6pm. Sun.11 am.-4pm. Please come by and enjoy. The theme of the show is “Honoring those who serve.”

5/30/20 NAMI WALKS NW, National Day of Hope, a virtual event. Did an internal 1/2 mile walk for mental illness, justice and peace.
