The Olympic Summer Games

Me in Natal. These are the colors I like to wear when I’m rocking out to my Brazilian music CD of “Shake,” by Zucchero. It was 2004, in Brazil’s dry season, when I traveled to Natal, Brazil and bought this dress at a flee market, displaying brightly colored cloths, of red, purple, orange,and gold. I was basking in my serenity watching the graceful sun sink itself into the waves of the warm Atlantic waters, and I felt pride to be in my mother’s homeland, Brazil. Its diversity, ongoing progress, enchantment and romance, all too good to be true. Congratulations to Rio for hosting the 2016 Summer Olympics this year! I am so excited.

May 28/2022-May 30/ 2022 Entered four paintings I painted in the Multnomah County Fair. Theme of the exhibit is For All Those Who Serve, Memorial Day Weekend.

May 22/2022, Volunteer and participated in NAMI NW Walks Clackamas NAMI, Peninsula Park Portland Oregon. Walk for Awareness, to educate and advocate for anyone with mental health issues and to insure encouragement, hope and right the wrong of stigma. Every mental health matters.

. 7/15/2021 Donated two paintings and several Sherry Goes Sane and Last Miracle Maria books for raffle at Drop in Vaccine Center, Providence Willamette Falls Education Center for support of mental health issues, addiction, loved one, vaccine receivers and for the development of vaccines through NAMI Clackamas
