There was a time in my life when things were easier to overcome. I had faith to keep me from going overboard, and encouragement and love from my teachers and school friends to help me stay on the right track. I was a little bit ‘older’ and ‘wiser’ and capable of handling what I had to do. I love to look back on all the support I had at that time and all the golden dreams that came true. This is a photo of me and my junior high school friend, Ron Frashour, in the Roseburg Newspaper. We were awarded with ‘Personality of the Month for Sportsmanship’ at Freemont Junior High. It was in our 9th grade. My maiden name was ‘Standing.’
