I loved the novel Moulin Rouge written by Pierre La Mure in 1950 about the French Artist Toulouse-Latrec. I enjoyed seeing the 2001 drama, musical and romance movie of Moulin Rouge based on the book, directed, produced and written by Baz Luhrmann. The style of this period intrigued me so I painted a portrait, I call ‘Emily.’ A recent oil portrait I painted, I called ‘Emily’ from the Moulin Rouge era. 18×24.

May 28/2022-May 30/ 2022 Entered four paintings I painted in the Multnomah County Fair. Theme of the exhibit is For All Those Who Serve, Memorial Day Weekend.

May 22/2022, Volunteer and participated in NAMI NW Walks Clackamas NAMI, Peninsula Park Portland Oregon. Walk for Awareness, to educate and advocate for anyone with mental health issues and to insure encouragement, hope and right the wrong of stigma. Every mental health matters.

. 7/15/2021 Donated two paintings and several Sherry Goes Sane and Last Miracle Maria books for raffle at Drop in Vaccine Center, Providence Willamette Falls Education Center for support of mental health issues, addiction, loved one, vaccine receivers and for the development of vaccines through NAMI Clackamas
