I am happy to announce that at one point of my life, I had the honor of donating my oil paintings to the Doernbecher Children Hospital in Portland, OR. Since I was an artist at the Oregon Society of Artists, a nonprofit art organization, which housed a large studio and gallery, I was asked if I wanted to donate a couple of my paintings to Doernbecher’s. Two of the paintings were chosen and hung at Doernbecher’s in the play area. One painting chosen, I named ‘Preschool Days.’ This picture is of me and the director of Doernbecher’s and my painting, ‘Preschool Days.’ The other picture I did, I painted from a picture of my second cousin, Sam, who was my cute little model. I was thrilled to have my paintings displayed where children and families could benefit.
