Alice and Me in Eugene

Over Easter weekend, my husband, Joe, and I dyed Easter eggs with our great niece and great nephew, danced to Gangham Style by Psy, and watched a whale video. The video was taken by my sister and her husband while they were in Mexico. We took in a movie called The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel and watched the show Conan in Cuba. The highlight of our trip was going on an egg hunt in Lithia Park with the kids. It was an invigorating experience. These photos are taken of my Roseburg High School chums, Alice Savage, Nancy Earwood, and Nancy Cook while we were visiting in Eugene and returning from Southern Oregon.

May 28/2022-May 30/ 2022 Entered four paintings I painted in the Multnomah County Fair. Theme of the exhibit is For All Those Who Serve, Memorial Day Weekend.

May 22/2022, Volunteer and participated in NAMI NW Walks Clackamas NAMI, Peninsula Park Portland Oregon. Walk for Awareness, to educate and advocate for anyone with mental health issues and to insure encouragement, hope and right the wrong of stigma. Every mental health matters.

. 7/15/2021 Donated two paintings and several Sherry Goes Sane and Last Miracle Maria books for raffle at Drop in Vaccine Center, Providence Willamette Falls Education Center for support of mental health issues, addiction, loved one, vaccine receivers and for the development of vaccines through NAMI Clackamas

5/29/2021- open 12-6pm to ticketed public-5/30/2021 12-4pm to ticketed public- Sherry exhibits three of her oil paintings at the Modified Multnomah County Fair, Oaks Park Ptld. Oregon, Theme, Honoring those who serve.

10/17-10/18/20. Sherry exhibits three of her oil paintings in the Modified Multnomah County Fair, at Oak’s Park, Portland, Oregon, Sat. 1 pm-6pm. Sun.11 am.-4pm. Please come by and enjoy. The theme of the show is “Honoring those who serve.”

5/30/20 NAMI WALKS NW, National Day of Hope, a virtual event. Did an internal 1/2 mile walk for mental illness, justice and peace.

9/21/19 NAMI Clackamas Roaring Twenties Benefit Auction at Gray Gables Estate, 3009 SE Chestnut Portland, Oregon. Sherry entered her portrait of a “Flapper,” in a silent auction that was bid on and donated to NAMI Clackamas office.

5/24/19-5/27/19 Sherry exhibits her paintings in the Multnomah County Fair, Oaks Amusement Park, Portland, Oregon, and receives Best of Show Award and two first place ribbons.
