We are celebrating our Silver Anniversary today and our 37th year of living together. My sister, Diana, and her husband, Bob, treated us to a Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire play at the Cabaret Theater in Ashland and author Mitzi Loftus treated us to brunch the next day. We also had a scrumptious dinner with Nancy Lewis who bought us our anniversary meal in Salem. Tonight we will celebrate at our favorite restaurant. The man in the picture, Joe Joiner, is my husband, the man I love. I not only love him for what he is but for what I am when I am with him. Joe brings out the best part of me. We share love and respect and he abundantly gives to me his emotional support. He takes care of me when I am sick and he is strong to let the sickness bounce off of him when he doesn’t agree with what I have to say. He is or seems to be untouched by my insanity and knows how to deal with effects of my disorder. He is a natural at it and has never had training. I am wishing you a Happy Anniversary honey, for all the hard times you have helped me through and all the hard times we have been through. The good times count too! You are my best friend, my forever love. May you walk with me through all the seasons of life and travel with me to the places of my dreams. I love you.
