For Sale Schizoaffective Disorder and Bipolar Disorder Paintings
The Garden Art Sale on Saturday, July 26, at 2208 NE 8th, Portland, Oregon, was a personal and moving experience. There were many tables occupied with a variety of art work, and Steve Gorman performed songs on his acoustic guitar. People from all walks of life visited. I swapped a painting with the host, Melody Gilman- Frederick, from NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness), and at the end of the event, my painting of ‘Jeronimo’ left my rack for a better home. My painting was given to a girl, who was part Navajo Indian. She teared up when she received it. I was grateful to be a participant that day.
