The contest painting is ready, and it’s time to announce the details of the Sherry Goes Sane reader contest. First, thank you to everyone who helped me pick a topic for the contest painting. You can read about the process in my blog posts below.  The picture is of me holding the final painting. It will be framed and sent to the winner. Here are the contest details:

1. Who’s eligible? Anyone who buys my book on Kindle or in paperback from Amazon between now and September 1, 2014.

2. What is the prize? I painted an original picture called  ‘Brilliant Flowers Opening up to the Sun’ as suggested by reader Alice Savage Gardner.  This is an original, framed oil painting that will be sent to the winner of the contest.

3. What do you need to do to enter the contest? Visit Amazon.com and purchase Sherry Goes Sane: Living a Life with Schizo-Affective Disorder.  The link is below.

4. After you purchase the book, send me an email at this address:  BooksbyMHWriters@  gmail.com and let me know your name and email address. I will enter your name into my magic hat and will draw a winner on September 1. The winner will be notified by email and the picture will be sent the next day.  Please note you can remain anonymous or use your name if you win the picture.

This is so exciting. I really loved painting a picture suggested by someone who has read Sherry Goes Sane already.  Painting is such an important part of my schizo-affective disorder management plan.
