Mom, enrolled me in track and field, roller skating, dancing and swimming when I was young became afflicted with polio. She studied the guts of her nursing book and learned what would work best for me. Other children in my shoes never had the my privileges or means to achieve that I had, I was so grateful for my mom. May 22/2022, Volunteer and participated in NAMI NW Walks Clackamas NAMI, Peninsula Park Portland Oregon. Walk for Awareness, to educate and advocate for anyone with mental health issues and to insure encouragement, hope and right the wrong of stigma. Every mental health matters.
