Thanksgiving at Cousin Pat’s

In Salt Lake City, sometimes we would go to my cousin Pat’s house for turkey dinner. I was young still battling the effects of polio but was able to walk with my braces. When it was picture taking time after we ate at the dinner table. I lifted my legs straight up and out above my waist and my mom would cover my legs with a blanket so my braces weren’t visible, I still looked pretty cripple up but I was having a good time and enjoyed myself with my Christmas Bow and the Christmas dresses my mom had made my sister, Diana, and I for Christmas, This is our picture at Pat’s house for Thanksgiving. I am in the front with the blanket covering my legs,
