Birthday weekend for Kylie-Oaks Park

This weekend, Todd Werner, his kids, Joe, and I celebrated Kylie’s Fifth birthday. We went to Oaks Amusement Park and rode the rides. Even though, I had a hard time stepping into the ‘Balloon’ ride, it left me laughing giddily, spinning around, as Todd took the wheel. ‘Grampa’ Joe found a place in the shade by the rink and didn’t show his shadow until it was time to bring the sodas and lawn chairs from the car, then back again, when it was time to come home. It was sweltering. Before leaving, the parents were sprayed off by short cool sprinkles of water by the kids. What a treat! Photo is of me and Kylie at Auntie Lisa Paine’s house enjoying Kylie’s birthday again. Two great days had by all.

May 28/2022-May 30/ 2022 Entered four paintings I painted in the Multnomah County Fair. Theme of the exhibit is For All Those Who Serve, Memorial Day Weekend.

May 22/2022, Volunteer and participated in NAMI NW Walks Clackamas NAMI, Peninsula Park Portland Oregon. Walk for Awareness, to educate and advocate for anyone with mental health issues and to insure encouragement, hope and right the wrong of stigma. Every mental health matters.

. 7/15/2021 Donated two paintings and several Sherry Goes Sane and Last Miracle Maria books for raffle at Drop in Vaccine Center, Providence Willamette Falls Education Center for support of mental health issues, addiction, loved one, vaccine receivers and for the development of vaccines through NAMI Clackamas
